PEX250×1200 Secondary Fine Jaw Crusher for Aggregates and Mining

The primary difference lies in the chamber configuration and purpose. Regular PE series crushers have a square, deep opening designed to take large boulders for primary reduction. The PEX250x1200 has a wide, shallow opening (250×1200 mm) with a much sharper nip angle, designed specifically to take smaller pre-crushed stones and reduce them down to fine aggregate sizes (25-60 mm) with high efficiency.

For standard aggregate and secondary mining setups, our Mn13Cr2 alloy provides excellent work-hardening efficiency and impact resistance. If you are handling exceptionally abrasive minerals like pure quartz or high-grade iron quartz, we can provide a material upgrade to Mn18Cr2 to give you a thicker wear margin and extended lifetime.

Quartz is highly abrasive, so a set of high-manganese plates running continuous 8-hour shifts typically lasts between 2 to 4 months. To reduce running expenses, both the fixed and movable jaw plate segments are designed symmetrically, allowing you to rotate them upside down to maximize metal utilization before buying replacements.

The mechanical discharge adjustment range of the PEX250x1200 is 25 mm to 60 mm. We strictly advise against adjusting the CSS below 25 mm, as excessive compression forces can cause material packing, accelerate jaw plate wear, and stress the structural toggle plate or main frame.

The machine incorporates a heavy mechanical cast-iron toggle plate positioned behind the moving jaw pitman. If a hard uncrushable item like a loader bucket tooth falls into the chamber, the toggle plate acts as a mechanical fuse and snaps cleanly, stopping the stroke instantly to protect the forged eccentric shaft.

The net weight of the PEX250x1200 is approximately 9,700 kg, allowing it to fit easily into a standard 20-foot shipping container. It requires a standard 37 kW industrial electric motor, which we can customize to your site's local industrial grid profile (e.g., 380V/50Hz or 440V/60Hz).

We provide a standard 12-month structural warranty that covers the main welded casing frame, eccentric shaft, and flywheels against any structural defects. Regular wear-and-tear items like jaw plates and cheek liners are not covered by the baseline warranty, but are kept in stock for rapid international shipping.
