Featuring a 1500 mm wide heavy-duty manganese steel apron conveyor with dual-row bushed roller chain drive and large forged sprockets, it handles run-of-mine material up to 1000 mm and high-density iron ore with ease — delivering stable, uniform, and controllable continuous feed to primary jaw crushers or gyratory crushers.
The unit operates on the principle of chains dragging apron pans at low speed — a 37 kW VFD-driven motor rotates the head sprocket, which drives the dual-row heavy-duty roller chains to move the pans slowly forward along guide rails. Material falls from the surge bin above onto the pans and is steadily pushed to the head discharge chute, where it drops into the downstream crusher feed opening. The VFD speed control system dynamically adjusts the feed rate based on the crusher’s real-time load, achieving closed-loop automatic matching between feed volume and crushing capacity. This low-speed, high-thrust, adjustable-speed heavy-duty feeding method makes it an irreplaceable front-end core feeding unit in large metallic mines, ultra-hard rock quarries, and 10,000-ton-class aggregate processing systems worldwide.
